I had someone tell me this is how Drew Barrymore wore her hair in "Ever After," hence what I've call it. Starting in the middle of the head make a small part and start a French twist. (Two strands of hair twisted, and with each twist you add another section of hair like a French braid - only you are twisting 2 strands of hair instead of braiding three). Once you reach the top of the ear, stop grabbing hair to add to the twist. Then just twist the remaining hair until you reach its end. Repeat on the other side and then fasten in the middle. Now that I'm posting these, I realize Bug was standing slightly turned, so her bow looks crooked - heck, maybe it was crooked, I don't know. Either way - you get the idea!

Once again, Bug was not impressed with me having to take pictures as we were rushing out the door so she gave me the best pouty lip she could. (Maybe I should start a blog on those!)

Then she gave me a smile but with Bug-o huge eyes! I also did this on Goose's hair - her ends
barely touched in back - darn. It looked cute still - especially since her hair is thicker, but in the rush of the morning, I forgot to get pictures of hers. The thicker the hair, the better any of these will look. Enjoy.

What creativity! I'll be checking back here and there for ideas. I get so bored with the 3 hair styles my girls get... if they get one at all:)
LOVE this one (one of my fave movies too)!! I'm going to try this one. My daughter has long thick hair so it should look nice. I am just intimidated by the twist. LOL!! We'll see how it goes!
very nicely done I am new to this site. I know how to do a regular french braid but need help with and inside out one could you try and explain it please.
I will have to try this on my daughter...her hair is so curly it might not work!! LOL!
Oh that looks just divine!!!! So pretty! I've just popped a link to you on my blog where I have feature Hettie's hairstyles - love love love your work!!!
Beautiful hair style! I guess great minds think alike. We posted a similar style last night using twisted braids. Thanks for the link!
Your princesses have beautiful hair whether long or shorter!
Vicki - Cool that you like this one. You'll have to send pictures if you are able to do it. I also have an easier way to do this that might be less intimidating. Stay tuned!
Natasha - Thanks for checking out my site -- Honestly I'm not the best at french braiding under - but I do know how to do it. I will try get an explanation up in the near future so keep checking back! Thanks again for commenting.
