As each year gets close to ending, I try and get all my pictures ready to archive into a different folder on my computer and so I've been going back through this year's pictures and came across this simple but cute one that I did for Bee back on her first day of pre-school this year that I never posted.
But first -- if you somehow missed it -- we are having a fantastic Curlformers giveaway that ends TONIGHT -- so if you have yet to enter, scroll down to the next post to see the details on how you can enter to win! There are several different sets up for grabs!
All I did was part her hair off on the top left side of her head. Then I parted down to her ear and divided that whole front section in half to make 2 sections. I did a twist - some call it a french twist like I do in my bangs in this video HERE. Once I reached her ear and the part, I stopped adding hair and did a rope/twist braid with the the 2 strands so it would wrap around to the left side of her head.
I made 2 of those twists & then added them into a ponytail.
I curled her ponytail slightly w/my flat iron & topped it off with a darling bow from All Things Ribbon & she was set for her 1st day of school.
Let me know if you have any questions on this ... and don't forget to scroll down to enter our Curlformers giveaway! Be sure to make all your comments in that post to enter or they won't get counted! I'll announce the winners tomorrow!

Bee-utiful :) Rope twists are my favorite, cause they go well with any style. And when did miss Bee stop being a toddler? she is growing up so fast!
ReplyDeleteOh, so cute! I agree, Bee is getting so big and with all that luscious hair! If only I had half that hair...
ReplyDeleteI love that girl!!! She's such a cutie. Love the hair do too.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this look and tried it on my daughter but failed miserably. May you do a video tutorial?
ReplyDeleteYour daughter is super cute and has really cute hair. I can't wait to try this out on one of my nieces. Since my own girl has not near enough hair.
