I think the large one is overkill. The small one still looks like a good size that would make a great ponytail comb for average to thick long hair. Great idea for the elastic cutter, especially for my husband who usually goes hunting for a scissor when he has to take our girl's elastics out.

I would use both. The big one would live in the kids' bathroom to cut elastics out before a shower. The little one would reside in the hair care cabinet in our kitchen. My dd is biracial (African American and Caucasian) so the wide tether are good to rake her hair before a finer tooth comb is used.

The smaller one. I know I would have three problems with the larger one. First, it seems cumbersome. Second, I would never put the bands back on the comb. Third, my children would take the bands off even if I did put them on. :) I love the elastic cutter part! If they had a rat-tailed version as well that would be awesome.

OH I love these! My dear daughter (dd) has fine hair, so the small one would do for us. Just like the previous commenter, we can't keep scissors in the bathroom, since I have many little ones running around. Moreover, dd is so wiggly, that scissors near her head can be disastrous.

Having a tool to cut elastics out of hair is a genius idea, and would be a game changer for us. I can't keep scissors in the bathroom because I have a wonderful five-year-old who has chopped her hair off twice. Since it is too hard to cut out elastics, and pulling them out rips hair, I am reluctant to use too many. I think the small one would be easier to use.

I would love to try the smaller one, it's so great, then I wouldn't have to go searching for something to cut out the elastics out of my daughter's hair so we don't pull or break her hair in the process. I've used nail clippers and seam rippers but I'm always nervous I'll cut her hair in the process with those. This is a great idea!

I'm sorry I can't comment on the combs, as I am quite confused as to what they would be used for and why you would need to cut elastics. I do like the little part on the big one that holds the elastics.
I am wondering MORE where on earth you find headbands that don't hurt. Are we talking about behind the ears. I love headbands, but can't wear them because they hurt so much behind the ears and I get a headache.

I think I like the smaller one better. Although there are pros and cons to them both. This idea is GENIUS! I would buy it for sure! At first I thought the part that is supposed to be used to cut the elastics was for making parts. That would be handy too. I don't need anywhere to hold my elastics since I buy the pre-sorted ones like you do. Great concepts though!
